NEIBA has served the New England bookselling community for over 50 years
The New England Independent Booksellers Association has served independent booksellers for over 50 years. NEIBA enjoys the participation of enthusiastic members who support the organization's mission: to further the success of professional independent booksellers in New England and to foster a vital and supportive bookselling community. NEIBA promotes independent bookselling in New England through an annual trade show, educational programming, print and electronic publications, and a variety of other resources--as well as promotional programs. NEIBA is governed by an elected Board of Directors that meets regularly with the Advisory Council and Executive Director. Membership is open to individuals and organizations involved in the marketing, distribution, and retail sale of books throughout New England. Booksellers, publishers, sales representatives, wholesalers, as well as vendors of bookstore supplies and services are welcome. If you are an author, illustrator, publicist, or anyone in the wider book industry, we invite you to become a "Friend of NEIBA."
