We’re excited to announce the launch of Finance Fundamentals!
Finance Fundamentals will be presented at NEIBA’s seasonal events: Fall Conference, Spring Forum, and a virtual winter meeting. There are four Finance Fundamentals sessions, and they will be staggered to ensure members will be able to attend all four over the course of the year.
- The Balance Sheet (Fall Conference 2026)
- Profit & Loss (Zoom, winter 2027)
- Chart of Accounts & ABACUS (Spring Forum 2027)
- Cash Flow (Fall Conference 2027)
The cycle repeats after that, so even if you attend only Fall Conference or the winter Zoom call, you will still be able to attend every session. Each session will be led by 1-2 bookseller panelists who are prepared to offer advice and expertise aligned closely with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Our goal is to deliver a rigorous crash course in small business finance, and our hope is that it will stand up to industry standards of basic accounting and bookkeeping.
