2017 Rusty Drugan Scholarship Winner

(with Support from BPRNE)

Katie Eelman
Papercuts J.P.

Katie Eelman has been at Papercuts J.P. in Boston, MA since it opened in 2014. There she runs the events program, manages social media, marketing, and publicity, and produces the store’s podcast. She also works diligently to remember the names of each canine visitor. Katie is also co-founder and editor-in-chief of the store’s publishing arm, Cutlass Press. Katie’s book career started at the Boston office of Hachette Book Group, though she is originally from a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her recent favorite hand-sells include Homegoing, The Nix, and Super Extra Grande. If she’s not selling books, making books, or reading books, she is probably eating ice cream.
