AUTOGRAPHING
Autographings at the show occur in two venues:
Friday & Saturday NEIBA Autographings:
Exhibitors may book authors and illustrators
for autographings by contacting NEIBA by August 1, 2007. NEIBA
will confirm autographing appearances on a first come, first served
basis. Each autographing lasts thirty minutes. Publishers are responsible
for providing 50-100 books to be given away at the autographing.
If possible publishers should arrange for escorts for their authors
during the autographings. There is a non-refundable $75 fee for
each confirmed author signing. NEIBA maintains a policy of suggesting
that booksellers voluntarily donate two dollars for each autographed
book they receive to a local literacy group.
Friday & Saturday Publisher Autographings:
Publishers with booth space (but not table-top
due to fire department laws) may have autographings at their booths.
Notify NEIBA of these booth signings and NEIBA will promote them
through signage and listings in the trade show program. There is
a non-refundable $75 fee for this service.
"BOOK BUZZ" - Publisher Presentations
NEIBA will provide an area on the show floor
for 15-minute presentations by sales representative of their "picks"
for the season. Exhibitors must contact NEIBA by August 1, 2008
(nan@neba.org), for these opportunities. No exhibitor will receive
more than one 15-minute slot. NEIBA will select presenters by lottery.
There is a non-refundable $100 fee for each confirmed presentation.
