Careers in Bookselling

April 11, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Event Navigation

NEIBA is pleased to announce that we’re holding an all-day session called Careers in Bookselling on April 11th, at the Beacon Press offices in Boston. This is designed for primarily for FRONTLINE BOOKSELLERS to learn more about how bookstores and publishers are intertwined, but veteran booksellers will still find plenty of new ideas!

NEIBA’s Careers in Bookselling event is so valuable for our frontline booksellers! I participated in 2014 as a panelist, and will be sending two of my booksellers to this year’s event. There is so much about our business that we take for granted, and this day of education really helps demystify the back end of the publishing & bookselling business. ~ Suzanna Hermans, Oblong Books & Music, Rhinebeck, NY
