Help Wanted

Book Ends in Winchester, MA – a Main Street Indie bookstore since 1984, is looking for a full time assistant manager.  Responsibilities will include participation in all aspects of operating the busy bookstore as well as our school book fair division.  This candidate should have the ability to drive a truck (just regular Mass drivers license, class D) for store and book fair deliveries, handle heavy lifting, handle setting up computerized points of sale for outside events.  Preference will be given for one full time person to fulfill all roles.

An Unlikely Story is looking to hire 2 part-time booksellers and 1 part-time Shipper/Receiver.  A unique and friendly bookstore, we are attracting customers and authors, coffee drinkers and wine lovers and fans of all sorts. We are looking for upbeat and positive booksellers to sell books as well as coffee in the most unlikely of places, Plainville MA.  We are looking for booksellers who love matching the right book with the customers and possibly the right wine. Postings are free to members. Only postings that might potentially benefit members such as “bookstore wanted” or “help wanted” or “positions wanted” will be permitted.
